Returns

You can return unused products within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

If a product has been installed, wired, or used, please contact us before sending it back. We’ll review used returns case by case.

Custom or made-to-order items are also reviewed case by case. Please contact us before ordering if you have questions about returning a custom item.

How to return an item

  1. Contact us with your order number and the item you’d like to return.
  2. We’ll reply with return instructions and the address to ship to.
  3. Ship the item back in its original packaging. We recommend a trackable shipping service, since we can’t issue a refund for items lost in transit.

Return shipping

Return shipping costs are paid by the customer and are not refundable. There is no restocking fee for unused items returned in their original condition.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know whether it’s approved. Approved refunds are issued within 30 days of our receiving the item, and usually much sooner. Orders paid through PayPal are refunded to the original payment method. Orders paid by check or Zelle are refunded by check or Zelle, and for check payments we wait until the original check has cleared. Original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damaged or incorrect orders

If your order arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.

Warranty

Loop Research products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of delivery. If a product fails because of a manufacturing defect during that period, we’ll repair or replace it at our option.

This warranty does not cover:

  • damage caused by incorrect wiring, wiring faults, or electrical problems in the vehicle
  • physical damage, including impacts, crashes, or damage during installation or removal
  • products that have been modified, opened, or repaired by anyone other than Loop Research

To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and a description of the problem before sending anything. This warranty is in addition to any rights you have under applicable law.
